Ok, so I stumbled across this spot and decided to check it out and I'm glad I did! I got the tip and link combo and the tips are well seasoned and smoky good! The link had the right amount of heat without being too hot ... I wish more than 1 link came with the combo. I ain't complaining because the amount of tips was good and they were meaty. I also got the turkey leg but with the amount of food I got, I had to save that for later, LOL! The best part ... no long lines or long wait! My new go-to for BBQ!
Lately, been leaning away from the chicken. I'd say the mini tip is still the star. I assume it is aquarium bbq since it develops a crispy char (but delicately handled so that it doesn't go to just plain burnt). I got a good mix of perfect tender pieces (thicker) and the thinner ones are slightly drier. (but that's what happens with tips that are unevenly thick). Prices ticked up a little to $11.99 for a mini tip. Service has been as friendly as it could be with the divider in between (can't blame them).
